IFM is the biggest magic convention in Russia, which is annually held in the city of Saint-Petersburg. The program consists of Fism Qualified Contest, lectures, work-shops, dealer zone, Gala Show and CRAZY magic afterparties all night long!

THE HISTORY OF IFM

International Forum of Magicians 2015
The first IFM was held in 2015 on Feb. 25 and 26 in St. Petersburg. The honorable foreign guest was the famous illusionist Lennart Green. The forum was attended by 300 magicians from different parts of Russia and the countries of the former Soviet Union. The competition stage of the program included only two areas: stage magic and close-up magic.

International Forum of Magicians 2016
In 2016, the IFM was held from Feb. 24-26. Shin Lim, a young talented magician and winner of FISM 2015, was the year’s honorary guest. Two new categories for nomination were added to the competition: cardistry and mentalism. Since then the IFM program has consisted of four nominations. The prize fund of the IFM for 2016 was 150,000 rubles.

The bright and electrifying magician Franz Harary made an unforgettable impression on everyone at the IFM 2017. The IFM that year was held from Feb. 20-22. The competition included four nominations: stage magic, close-up magic, cardistry, and mentalism. The prize money amounted to 150,000 rubles.

In 2018, the IFM was held from Feb. 19-21. The top illusionists from Russia and countries of the former Soviet Union took part in the forum. There were four nomination categories. The prize money amounted to 150,000 rubles. The IFM 2018 is remembered most of all, however, by the huge number of magic shops which were exhibited during the forum.

International Forum of Magicians 2019
In 2019, the IFM was held from Jan. 28-30. Many honored guests, including Domenico Dante, Patrick Kun, Andrei Jikh, Eric Jones, and Henri Harrius, came to the Forum. For the first time, an International DEALER-SHOW was shown at the IFM, creating impressive effects for magicians.

In 2020, the VI International Forum of Magicians gave many pleasant surprises, new distinguished guests, new nominations, lectures, master classes and communication. This year the Forum brought together Domenico Dante, Satoru Yamamoto, Gregory Wilson, Troy, Tom Elderfield and many others.

International Forum of Magicians 2021
For the first time the IFM was held in the city of Moscow. The headliner of the GALA SHOW was incredble TOPAS. Lectures from Cyril Takayama, Enrico&Lisa De La Vega were held online. Also, the guests of the festival were: Jaana Felisitas, Miika Pelkonen, Mikhail Koppelevich and other magnificent magicians.
